The OEM Active RFID Logistics Extension is an innovative and proven development enabling a low-cost geolocalization of logistics assets such as containers, cabins or trailers by extending the capabilities of GPS tracking devices with Active RFID technology. The extension combines the Industrial Active RFID Reader with Industrial Krypton Tags and integrates with virtually any GPS tracker in the market. In addition, it features a web-based service to access the real-time collection of data in an XML format ready for integration with existing Fleet Management solutions.
Zoning capabilities can be achieved either with an additional Industrial RFID Reader deployed in specific areas such as yards or through zoning capabilities offered by Fleet Management solutions using GPS devices.
Proven application for integration with existing Fleet Management solutions AgoraBee designed the OEM Active RFID Logistics Extension specifically for Fleet Management solution providers interested to expand their offerings in the Asset Tracking market space. Agorabee completed a market trial by offering the ChisFleet Container solution and successfully deployed the solution with Waste Management service providers. The ChisFleet Container solution integrates the Active RFID Logistics Extension with the Falcom Bolero LT GPS tracking device allowing for real-time web-based container asset tracking.
