Tracking and monitoring of reusable containers or trailers is a direct application of AgoraBee's Active RFID Extension. It enables traceability of temporary or fixed waste containers with a low-cost and easy to deploy telematics equipment.

AgoraBee extends location-based solutions for tranportation fleet management by interfacing with a third party GPS/GSM/GPRS module, wether a traditional GPS/GSM device or an embedded On-Board equipment.

The extension is composed of AgoraBee's Industrial RFID Reader designed with interfacing capability, and Industrial Active Tags capable of communicating their presence or various sensor events to the reader in a 30m to 100m range.

The collected tag events can be retrieved through a web-service interface or directly transmitted to a third party management system.
